The latest leak from Flying Flame suggests Zenless Zone Zero players will get Lucy for free in version 1.2. The A-rank agent will reportedly be available after completing the Overlord's Banquet event in the next update. It's safe to assume that Lucy will be a one-time reward that can be obtained within a certain time. Unlike other free characters in Zenless Zone Zero, she likely won't stick around permanently.
Zenless Zone Zero's Lucy Could Be Given for Free
If the leak is accurate, Lucy is the first character to be given as an event reward in Zenless Zone Zero. Players can expect her free banner to be available in the first part of version 1.5, which will likely run from September 25 to mid-October. Details about the Overlord Banquet event should be revealed in a special livestream dedicated to the next version.
Zenless Zone Zero's Lucy is an A-Rank agent who can use a Fire attribute to deal damage to enemies. She best works as a support, providing a team-wide ATK buff that enhances her allies' combat prowess. The character summons several guard boars, companions that inherit her critical damage and rate. Using her ultimate, Lucy launches guard boars sequentially and deals AoE Fire damage. Moreover, while performing this ultimate, other agents on the team recover 10 energy.
Aside from Lucy, Zenless Zone Zero's version 1.2 will introduce another Fire wielder, Burnice White, who fits into the DPS role and has an Anomaly specialty. The character reportedly has an S-Rank rarity like the other version 1.2 unit, Caesar King. Considering Burnice White is a Fire DPS agent, players can expect her to deal DoT damage and inflict various debuffs on enemies.

Don't go into the Hollows.
I know, I know, there's Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—
Find a "Proxy".
Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows.
Good luck!
